Good Trip

We are back from our first trip as a family of 4! I would say it was definately a sucess and we shall do it again...after we rest up a bit. :) It was so great to see all of you family in Houston and especially celebrate Grandmother's 80th birthday! Savannah especially enjoyed seeing "Missy" and the "hitties" along with her relatives of course. She also nicknamed Grandmother "Super Nana" (thanks Casey :))

The girls behaved about as well as expected with both having the ear infections. We discovered that Evie likes her own bed at home much more than someone else's... but that is to be expected.

Unfortunately we didn't bring the camera--so I think there are some pictures of the weekend from Kate's camera that I will eventually post. So these pictures are from the weeks before the trip and this week. Evelyn has finally rolled over from front to back which is great however it infuriates her when she is supposed to be sleeping, so rolling the other way cannot come fast enough for all of us! :) The picture of her in the bumbo alone was because Savannah pushed her around and decided she needed to be "over there mom".

Savannah has been changing Evie's diapers and still is obsessed with her many "babies". She is such a good little mother. Ha ha. As you can see, Savannah has had it rough lately with her black eyes and bump on the head to go along with her never-ending ear infections. On that note--we have an appointment with an ENT Dr. on Thursday to discuss tubes. :( Prayers for the little girl would be appreciated, and for Brian and I as well as we consider having to send our daughter off to surgery at her young age. We know how routine this is, but it will still be very hard...
