Brian had to work several days/nights out of town recently, so we both decided it would be a great idea to go visit Round Rock with the girls so I wouldn't have to be alone the whole time. Sooo I packed up the girls and the dogs and headed east! Everyone did fantastic traveling, thankfully, and we stayed at Nana's and Granddad's house and had a great week. We even got to see the girls' cousin Henry. Evie and Henry were quite fascinated with each other and it was great fun to watch them play together. Glad that I now have my first road-trip alone under my belt!
We also had a great 4th of July where the girls marched (rode in the wagon) in the Children's Parade downtown Midland. Savannah finally figured out it was fun to wave her flag at the people who were watching the parade, Evelyn figured it out even before we started going... :)
Henry (aka mini Casey) obviously loved his cousin. :)

Cute new outfit!! Evelyn's color might be red... ps this is a 3-6month size, she is still so little! Can't wait to hear next week how big or little she is.
Lego Duplo's are a huge hit with Savannah...
YAYAY Daddy's home! The girls were both pretty ecstatic to see him--although the scruffy beard did make them pause a bit at first. Brian was also pretty happy to see his girls.
