Well.... we have officially had our first trip to the ER for one of the kids. About 2 days after the last post, the kids came down with fevers, coughing and general sickness AGAIN. However, this time it lingered on and on and on. Evelyn ended up with a horrible case of croup and strep. Sunday night it got so bad I felt out of control, so Brian took her into the ER. One of the scariest nights of our lives--prayers were needed and helped us a lot. Long story short, she is okay, got some good meds and was able to go home to us. The next few nights we kept a close eye on her, and she is over it mostly now.
Savannah had her turn of croup just not nearly as severe. Her sickness did turn into ear infections though so on the meds for her. Please pray for Helena, it could get more serious if she ended up with this nasty virus. Brian seems to have some version of it, and I am okay so far. Geez, I can't wait to get over this all!
Baths and steam baths, first "bath" with all 3 girls... look at that chubby baby!

She was feeling somewhat better, so reading books is back.
we had meant to save this Richard Scarry book for her bday, but she was so pathetic, couldn't resist having something fun for her now
SNOW DAY!
"Playing" in the snow--for about 5 minutes that I let them, so they don't get even more sick ! They loved it now that their hands were warm with their mittens. :)

Helena looks terrified! But she really just let Evelyn hold her for a few minutes.
