Oma comes for a visit and Clara had RS

This little baby just had her first serious sickness--and it was a doozy!  She had a little cold (so we thought) and woke up one night very very sick with wheezing and chest retractions.  It was scary.  Dr. Nabulsi believes she had/has RSV even though the swab came back negative.  We avoided the ER and being hospitalized by doing numerous breathing treatments, steam baths and lots and lots of tlc.  :)  Poor baby, though when Oma arrived Saturday, she was already perking up and it was hard to tell how sick she really was by her actions!

We are just dealing with the residual coughing now, and the other kids are slowly catching it as well.  Hopefully for them (especially Evie) it will just be a yucky cold.  So anyways, praise the Lord for healthy or getting healthy kids, and here are a bunch of pictures of Clara at 9 months old. She is about 23 1/2 lbs (95%) and 75% in height, still a big baby.  She is standing on her own these days and we expect her to take her first steps any day now.  Such a fun age (when healthy)!

aww... sort of.

below might be a keeper.  She was kinda sick here still, so it was a bit difficult to get her smiling.  She usually has lots of smiles for us.

not a great picture of the 4 below.. will have to try again in a month or so at Easter

went for a nice walk at the duck pond, weather was beautiful

so awesome to have Oma here this past week--it was a difficult week to get through and so thankful for her help.  We happen to think that was God's providential timing!
