Helena turns 1!!!

Cannot believe it!  Helena Gwendolyn is 1 today.  That year seemed to fly by.  Helena is really becoming a fun little baby/toddler.  She is walking--wanting to run sometimes!  She loves to be around her sisters whatever they are doing, and in general just toodles around the house.  Some days I will "lose" her for a few minutes and find her playing in a bedroom closet.  

Since having tubes put in her ears she has become a much sweeter baby--though her temper is no joke!  Tiny baby fits have started already--  and when she is tired, she needs to go down to bed right away, no waiting around for her.  :) 

We still thinks she looks like a mix of the 2 girls, but more lately she seems to favor Brian's side, except of course for her white hair, which is still soo white and fuzzy.  She will have one more surgery this year for her mark on her head.  It is a nevus sebacious (sp?) and needs to be removed sooner rather than later, so that will be another trip to Austin area and the surgery will happen in Temple.

Opening a few presents... we will do some more in a few days and have her smash a cupcake too.  She loved this book!  Thanks for thinking of Helena and sending her gifts, she (and we) appreciate it!!
