Tic decided to bring in an unwanted visitor on the floor of the dining room the other day. The kids thought we needed to "keep" it as a pet. For now we are. For a few weeks. THey named it within 5 minutes of putting in a shoebox.
Meet Jewel the squirrel. So far seems to be doing okay. Feeding it puppy formula every few hours and will see how the next few weeks go. Our wildlife preserve will take it probably so that is most likely where Jewel will end up living.
hopefully she starts looking less like a rat and more like a squirrel soon
and these 2 starting to enjoy each other's company... or tolerate at least
